My name is Seth Powers, and I am freelance photographer. The weight of a camera in my hands and the sound of a shutter snapping are the joys of my trade, preserving moments in time for the ages. A picture allows others to see the world through the same eyes and share for a moment a common perspective. I am drawn to the natural world, macro, ruins and forgotten America, as well as portrait work. For my process, I implement the art of capturing photos through the many different paths photography has taken over the decades, and I can often be spotted with a digital or pinhole camera and everything in between, using any number of tools the picture may call for.
